WJW Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 Because we actually project stats here. We don't just crank out a computer model based on some contrived algorithm like some "other" sites do. Also, and more importantly, a player's value can't always be quantified by projected stats during a season. Example, Ben Tate's value isn't solely determined by what stats you think he'll accumulate the rest of the season. It's mostly based on his value if he takes over for an injured Arian Foster. That value can't be quantified with numbers. Player value is as much art as it is science. That's why we provide rest of the season player rankings based on what our experience and expertise tells us. Right or wrong, that's what we believe is of the most value to our members.
