Joebirds55
Coming off a solid week...perhaps his DUI gave him a bit of a spark? Anyone a bit higher on turners out look for the rest of the year? Anyone still actively trying to move him? What would you expect in return in a standard league? Balzac
In a word, no. I think his numbers last week were deceptive, as he churned them out when SD was already out of the game. I think he'll ultimately end up being an "inside the 20/10" type of RB by midseason, with Rodgers handling the rest. I'd take whatever I can get for him at this point, as I think he's got nowhere to go but down after last week.
LbNiners
I'd imagine he put up solid #'s again against this sorry arse Car team, so sell after this Sun.
Joebirds55
Yeah I think that's what I'll have to do. Hoping he puts up real good numbers and maybe someone in my league will take him off my hands after this week...no choice but to start him really
MTSuper7
Atlanta isn't going to build a 20 point lead every game. Sadly, Turner's production to this point has been in the best possible context of playing with a large lead. I'd sell as soon as you think you can get something of even marginal value. Target someone with RB issues (Bradshaw, FJax, Forte owners maybe?).
Joebirds55
I'm trying. Only thing is the guy I'm playing this week is prob the number one candidate to trade with. His first pick was Chris Johnson, second Matt forte. He is starting Pierre Thomas and CJ this week. Woof
delusions of grandeur
I'd imagine he put up solid #'s again against this sorry arse Car team, so sell after this Sun. This, I would definitely hold him to start against the Panthers. I was desperate last week and started Andre Brown fro the same reason, and that obviously turned out okay... Though it's entirely possible Turner can still be a good closer, and carry value by having a good chance for double digit TDs. I thought it was promising this weekend to actually see the O-line giving him holes to hit once they wore down the SD defense. Maybe part of it was them having to respect the passing (though won't everyone?), but a lot of his big gashes were in the second-half where SD had to know that the Falcons wanted to run the ball and eat clock. No Turner really can't make his own yards early anymore, but I finally saw what I wanted to see, for the O-line to open up big holes and allow him to get to the 2nd and third levels where he's tough to bring down, as well as see him look more effective after keeping the defense on the field all game. The o-line really hadn't even been giving him or Quizz a chance prior to this game. Still temper expectations, but not all hope is lost. Joebirds55
I agree w that pretty much. Leary to get rid of him due to his goal line threat every week
