WashingtonD
Kind of funny that this is being touted as a new thing given many of the folks on this site have been actively playing dynasty leagues for years if not decades. http://www.fftoolboxforums.com/index.php?showtopic=30148&page=1 I do like the ability to win not just your own league, but then the overall league, and also a multi year points title. No contracts is a bummer, prying marquee players away from other teams will be difficult. You can also reset your team each year by voluntarily going into a dispersal draft (though it's only useful if there is also an abandoned team or another team enters as well). I've signed up for a squad, figured I'd share it here in case anyone else was interested. D
Brentastic
Interesting. I didn't see a full rule listing. So if no contracts - do you just keep until you drop or trade?
delusions of grandeur
Interesting. I didn't see a full rule listing. So if no contracts - do you just keep until you drop or trade? I'm not a fan of keep-forever dynasties. It makes it way too expensive to have a good balance of youth without drafting it on your own, when people go nuts overvaluing youth. Some of these dynasty startup drafts are just laughable from a redraft perspective. Plus it's tougher to get value for an aging veteran, to where you might as well keep them for what you'd get. I just think the "dibs" system is silly...
electricrelish
Dynasty leagues that allow you to keep a player forever seem like lazy leagues to me, but it does make overall trading much easier.
