His other starting rb is Spiller so Joique Bell would probably start over Spiller most weeks. I think Gio would be a slight upgrade over Ellington for me and I can afford to lose Bell (my best backup rb) because I have Gio's insurance policy in Jeremy Hill. Yes or no? turbinator Posted October 19, 2014 Author Share Posted October 19, 2014 If Gio goes down, I'd have Hill to plug in. This insurance is a big reason why I'd do this deal. Obviously, I can't predict if either Ellington or Gio will get hurt. But I'd be more prepared to handle a Gio injury opposed to an Ellington injury. I could pick up Stepfan Taylor to handcuff Ellington but I don't think he would put up Ellington numbers whereas Hill would probably put up similar numbers to Gio.
