DMD Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I think part of the issue with Manziel and Barnidge is that when McCown plays, the defense focuses more on the WR and that leaves Barnidge more open as an outlet. When Manziel plays, they are less concerned with the WR and more with him running the ball so they are closer to the line and that makes Barnidge less open. I would like to see anything on how many times Barnidge was actually the first read on a catch for either McCown or Manziel. I think it's also fair to note that Barnidge has been KILLING it for 5-6 weeks, it isn't as if even the studliest are immune from an off night. The whole team got trounced.
