MorningMud
If there was a Broncos vs Packers post already...I apologize for creating another. I just had to share my pride in what the Broncos did tonight. The offense actually looked like an NFL offense. It was nice to see and gives some hope that they can still be "that team". More importantly, watching the Broncos D hold one of the best QB's in the game (if not the best) and his team to under 200 total yards was fun. This defense is the real deal. I'm starting to fall into that "believer" category. Here's to hoping they don't dash my hopes and dreams.
BA Baracus
+1 I am 100% with you. The team looks legit. The defense is on the level of what Seattle had 2 years ago and now the offense is finally working. We are down to a 4th string OT, yet were creating lanes for the running game. Manning is hitting his marks again, hell he even looked solid on those bootlegs. If the running game can keep gashing for 4-6 yards at will, we are going to be extremely difficult to beat, even for good teams. You could see it last night...the running game just wears down the opposing defense, and then our defense forces a 3 and out, and then Manning hits them with the play-action pass...it just grinds the other team into pulp. I am also super optimistic for this team.
gilthorp
Very impressive. I think Brady throws for more than 80 yards against them. Gronk changes their entire defensive gameplan they had last night against the Pack.
BA Baracus
The frequently overlooked secondary result of this game... Nationwide >> State Farm
Macksimus
...best team in the league IMO. Defense is unbelievable. Can't wait for that Pats/Broncos game; hopefully both teams are still undefeated when they play each other.
