Hosting a live auction - What should I use?

Hi all,

I'll be hosting a live auction, maybe 2 depending on signup, in my neighborhood in a couple of weeks. Should I expect everyone to bring their laptops and we join a league that way, or do you use a separate tool/website to track the draft and manually input teams after the draft has been completed?

Thanks for your insight!

Jeff

Hey Jeff,

We do a live auction every year, with giant poster boards hanging for all to see, and the players are added to each team's roster so everyone can see who has what.

Everyone brings laptops, and two or three people have Draft master spreadsheets that calculate players and draft money left per team (as well as maximum bid remaining per team)

We manually input the results in the next few days. Works great every year, and for most its the best day of the year.

We have a few non-participants BBQing for us, and take a break half way to enjoy some good eats and talk smack.
