Allen, CJ Anderson, Montgomery (option for 10th round keeper), J. Conner I am in 3rd place so improving my team for this year is the focus. Receive: B. Cooks & 2018 4th Round Send: A. Ellington & 2018 2nd Round If I do well this year the 2nd round pick I send will be high (13-16), and I’m assuming the 4th round pick I’ll get will be mid-low (42-48). What do do you think?? tylcook13 Posted October 13, 2017 Share Posted October 13, 2017 You definitely could use another WR. Giving up Ellington for Cooks is a good deal. But that draft capital next year will hurt. Is Cooks the best you can get? He's usually a boom or bust kind of guy. I'm not the best at trade advice, hopefully someone else knows more. Watt's Up Posted October 13, 2017 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Draft picks are tricky. I mean, this would help your team quite a bit this season, but it will hurt next fall. That's the trade off -- it seems fair, I guess, but I don't think I would pull the trigger unless it was a money league and I felt like this gave me a really good shot to win that I wouldn't otherwise have. That changes it a bit, I still stand by what I said then, just under a different context. I don't like you losing a 2nd round pick to get cooks this year. He's wildly inconsistent and I think the ideal place for him would be a flex play safely behind 2 consistent WRs. That beind said, your WR situation is beyond sad and Cooks over Ellington would undoubtedly round off your team. So i'm torn. I do like having Cooks on your team over Ellington because I don't think you're going to be able to ride Ellington to the playoffs(Johnson going to be coming back eventually and Don't know how much of the workload AP gonna get.)
