detlef
In typical day late-dollar short manner, any chance the BCS adopts the "Pitt rule" after this season? That is, if the champion from a BCS conference fails to finish in the top 20 in the BCS rankings, they lose their spot? Perhaps better still, if no team from that conference finishes in the top 15 regardless of who wins the conference title, they don't get an automatic. The second one is likely more fair. After all, if Colorado does manage to beat OU, it would be lame to see them in the BCS, but at least they had to upset one of the top teams in the country to do so. The same can't be said for Pitt, who won a conference who's best teams are ranked #21 and #23. That's a joke.

They will do this, or they'll boot the Big East out of the picture all together.
