Bengal Mania
Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda.... Bengals played good enough to beat Patriots, but turnovers and penalties did them in. Championship teams don't make all those errors, and the Bengals won't get there until they stop them. But, I think Palmer showed again that he will be a force to be reckoned with. Remember early in the season, when many thought the Bengals chances of winning would greatly improve if Kitna came in at QB. How many of you who thought that will admit you thought just the opposite (that their chances would go down) when he finally did come in yesterday. Defense has shown signs of improvement, maybe another year and they become a real assett to winning. CJ is a STUD at WR, believe it. TJ, welcome to the world of notoriety. Rudi, it was fun while you were here, and we love you. Enjoy your next home in the NFL. Carson Palmer, ProBowl by 2007. Superbowl by 2008. Bengals - the drought ends in 2005! sash19
Living in Cincy, I am also enjoying the 2nd year of at least average football. This team looks very good at times and then at times like a deer in headlights. If they let Rudi go then who runs the ball? Chris Perry? No chance. If they let Rudi go it is b/c they think they have a great shot at getting Shaun Alexander to come home. While it would be great, I dont see it happening. Rudi will be here for awhile is my guess.
