Herdmaster
Pretty bad day for Jeff Burton. 705981 I thought Burton's car was great! He got shuffled back three times and found his way to the lead pack every time. If the engine hadn't let go..top ten.
tbimm
If Robby Gordon is available...snatch him up now! He is "The Man" for road courses. Your wife has a pretty good team as well, you guys should do real well. On a side note, did anyone catch the truck race last night?? How about those two trucks that flipped over..and kept on driving!!! Good stuff...helluva finish!! 704578 Robbie Gordon is the driver for roadcourse races but you have to keep in mind he is owner of his own team this season and will not have the equiptment he has had in the past for those races. Mears and Said are probably safer choices this season. Just got back home from Daytona and all I can say is the was freakin awesome!
Herdmaster
You could give R.Gordon a donkey pulled cart, and I still wouldn't bet against him at a road course.
Retrograde assault
Robbie may have bit off more than he can chew this year. Is he running his own team because he is too volatile a personality to work for someone else?
Herdmaster
That's a possibility. Very few drivers can run their own teams, there have been a few exceptions but for the most part...you gotta have a teammate...or a ton of cash! Retrograde assault
Gonna be interesting to watch Robbie this year thats for sure. Another thing, I don't know anything about Jrs new crew chief, is this a road block in his teams development or not?

Junior has a pretty good head on his shoulders (like his father) and he's gambling on this shake up to be just what his team needs. If you notice, he kept Tony Eury in house (he's Waltrips crew chief) so it was more of a re-alignment rather than a change. We'll know if it was a good move at about the mid-way point.
