muck
LG Brian Waters may be holding out for more money...he's not saying that's why he's not at OTA's (he says it's because he wants to spend more time with family)...and, if he is, given KCs other signing obligations, it could get ugly. FWIW, he's the only offensive lineman names Offensive Player of the Week in the history of the award, winning it last year when KC had 8 rushing TDs against the Falcons. RG Will Shields is contemplating retirement: "...my body will tell me what I'm gonna do; I don't want to hurt when I wake up..." ... "...yeah, sure, I wanna play, but, sometimes the body won't let you..." Shields has been pretty much injury free for his entire 13 year career (potential HOF career, I might add), and doesn't want to have a miserable life after football because he didn't walk away soon enough. Note that he did practice yesterday for the first time since OTAs started. Edited June 8, 2005 by muck
Jimmy Neutron
Glad I dumped Priest last year for a premium in my dynasty league.
Bill Swerski
I wouldn't be surprised if Roaf (age 35) retired soon as well. Agreed about Shields being a HOF candidate. He might not get in on the first vote, but I'd be shocked if he wasn't eventually inducted.
