Let's talk about the holdouts...

There has been a lot of talk about the bunch of players going to hold out. these are my points of view.

Javon Walker: Pretty much the same situation as Clinton Portis last year. I am not saying he will be traded, but he deserves the money. 500k for his 2004 performance just isnt good enough (in NFL standards). This is a worthy hold out, if there is such a thing.

Terrell Owens: Pretty stupid. He already has a big deal for a bunch of years, so now he just wants to become a greedy Mr. Moneybags. This helps the team in no way, but actually hurts them. Terrell should just suck it up and play a gazzillion dollars instead of a bazillion.

Shaun alexander: I can agree with him holding out. The Seahawks seem to be hesitant on giving anyone big money+long term deal. SA should not ask for more money (getting 6. something million) but maybe get a deal with a slight paycut but long term. A somewhat worthy holdout.

Hines Ward: I dont know if Hines is holding out for money along with the years, or just years. I see no reason for him to holdout and just instead try to get something done during the season. Bill Cowher will more than likely give him a deal, and there really isnt anyone else in the WR corps to give money/long term deal to. This holdout is not needed (but then again, he really hasnt delared to hold out yet since he is talking to Cowher and comp. today/tomorrow about the situation).
