Sgt. Ryan
For whatever reason Dallas has a way of shutting Carolina down. 2 yrs in a row on the road, and Dallas thumps them. This time, Smith beat them with a 24 yard rush, but is held in check all day receiving. Delhomme only had 149 passing yards, and the Panthers as a whole only had 204 total yards. Pure domination, in rushing yard, total yards, scoreboard, and finally Romo accounted for more yards in his first NFL start than the Carolina team did as a whole at home. Im shocked Carolina is this bad. Edited October 30, 2006 by Sgt. Ryan
PSULions
I'm shocked Carolina is this bad. Me too. It was a good game for about 3 quarters and then we started missing some opportunities to make plays and Dallas did. My hats off to them and it looks like you guys have found your QB. Very impressed with Romo's play. Made his reads, went to the TE often and make the plays to keep drives going. I am very dissappointed with my Panthers and I think it is time for Henning and his conversative play book to go. With the talent we have, there is no excuse only scoring 14 points in each of the last two games. The offense is not able to keep a drive going and we settle for punting to often. The D got run down and was gassed at the end of the 4th quarter and the snowball just went down hill from there. 38:00 to 22:00 in time of possession says it all. Panthers will be a 8-8 team until we find a way to strap it up and close out games. Congrats to the Cowboys fans your team looked good tonight! Cowboyz1
All I know is that this was a HUGE win. Romo.... Solid. O line....Solid. Secondary.....Sufficating. Smith held to 59 yards. Carolina was completely shut down in the second half. Jake 149 yards and Carolina could only muster a grand total of 72 yards rushing. Defensive came to play today. I know your feelin it PantherDave Now lets see it a couple more times in a row......... Romo that was a heck of a debut performance. Quick release, threw the ball away and avoided pressure. Were back in it Boys. Let's keep it rollin. Oh and Philly BWWAAAAAAA.
