CarryTheRock
Saints signed WLB Scott Shanle to a four-year contract extension. The 27-year-old recorded 98 tackles and four sacks in 2006 as part of an overachieving linebacker unit coached by Joe Vitt. This should give New Orleans more freedom to upgrade its secondary in free agency. Financial terms weren't disclosed, but Shanle is now under control through 2010. rajncajn
LINK I hope that means they plan to upgrade at MLB. The only thing I dislike about this is signing Shanle this early may tip their hand a little for FA as if it weren't obvious enough they would like to go after a CB. I would rather see them address CB in FA and finally go after the stud MLB in the draft.

But I don't want them paying what Clements is asking.

broncosn05
Rajn you know you're a little happy to hear that Payton isn't going to take all the LBs on the team off the wire this year. Though somehow it worked
rajncajn
What do you all think the future holds for Fujita? He was definately our best LB last year and should be a dead lock to start at SLB for a long time to come.
