Menudo
don't get me wrong- I love going to Sea games, I have a blast. For some reason, I like being able to see everything that the tv and replays show....... plus having my fantasy guys rolling on my laptop. I know I am in the minority, I just enjoy baseball and basketball alot more in person. When I do go to a Hawk game it seems like I am always DVR'ing the game or tryin to catch replays b/c I feel like I missed so many plays even though I was there............ I actually agree to your point. Due to the size and layout of a football field, you don't get the best angles all the time at a football game. You don't get as good of a live view as you do Baseball & Basketball. However, it is the atmosphere that makes it worthwhile for me. I also agree that you really need to DVR football games that you go to, for the reasons mentioned above. We are starting to agree on things here and there, and it scares me to no end. T_bone65
Either 50 yard line upper deck front row or Club level corner endzone. I have had both seats at Raven Stadium and they are awesome.
chiefjay
3rd base line, front row or right behind the on deck circle.
Azazello1313
3rd base line, front row or right behind the on deck circle. yup, except if pressed, i'd probably take the first base line, depending on the park/team. for one, i believe most home teams have their dugouts on the 1st base side. also, i there are still more right handed hitters than left and i'd rather look at their front than their ass -- which, come to think of it, now i see why you prefer third base side. twiley
I have season tickets and then split another season. My season tickets are upper level but first row right on the 25 yard line visitor side. The ones I split are 30 rows up 10 yard line. I can see the game better from the upper level. I'll sit occasionally in the 2nd row 15 yard line and it's next to impossible to see the game if it's on the other side of the field. Solid points. I guess 1st base side is better although at places like Wrigley or Comerica then Sun hits on the other side of the field so it could be a bit chillier on the 1st base side. At Comerica the home dugout is on the 3rd base side but I think you're right that most places are the opposite. I think there are more foul balls on the 1st base side so that alone makes it better. That said the only foul ball I got was last year when Dmitri Young made a nice running catch right in front of us and then handed the ball to my then 5 year old. Good stuff. Have the tape. Insert D. Young joke here.
