gringuljete
How does your league handle Fantasy IR, with the NFL not reporting injury status until Friday? My league's claiming process runs on Thursday, but we don't have a status on a guy like Brandon Jacobs until Friday. Out roster limits are low, with 13 roster spots, starting 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1PK and 1D/ST. Does anyone have this problem? How does your league deal with it? Thanks
Outshined
The only league I am in that uses IR is on Fanball. Fanball puts the injury letter on roster (P,Q, D or O). If he is listed as O, we can put him on IR and pick up another player. If that happens on Friday then thats when we can do it. Edit: If a player is put on IR, he stays there until the next injury report comes out. Edited September 14, 2007 by Outshined
Trots
It's definitely a problem this year with the NFL's new injury designations.
Czarina
I've never played in a redraft that offers IR, only dynasty leagues. In 2 leagues here at the Huddle, our rule is that you can only designate a player to IR if he's on the NFL's IR. This way you don't have to drop him completely but he's not on your active roster. Once placed on the IR, that's it for him for the season as far as your team is concerned.
