stuntastic
is he going to take over the back and replace DeAngelo Williams?
Randall
That's a definite maybe.
Capt. Stanky
He should, but I doubt it with Fox's loyalty to vets. I have the feeling that Fox will go with the better fit depending on the team they are playing. If they are playing a D that does better against power backs D-Will will get the majority of the carries and vice versa.
DMD
I would expect that he will get carries in the first half now but one game is not enough for him to garner the outright start from DW. That will come in the future and just depends on how well he continues to play, especially how much better than DW he seems to be.

I think her needs to demonstrate he's a lot better to get the starting job. He could do it, but one game won't suffice.
Ice717
But has it been really one game... Thats two games in a row where hes averaged over 5YPC. One could say that Fox is using Williams for lack of a better word lull the defense to sleep with the running game. I mean lull because Williams is more slash and dash, then in the second a battering ram comes in and the team doesn't know what hit them. But the Bear's defense usually is good at stopping tough runners, and Stewart was running over them. Personally, I think Stewart has garnered more playing time cause Williams has had two earlier years to prove himself, even with Foster there. Bedoman
Ice I agree with you - D Williams could not steal the starting job for D Foster ???? You have a hungry rookie wanting to prove his draft spot worth - if he stays healthy I think he will be really really good this year and Williams will be a change of pace back - Stewart looks like a young but quicker version of a back named S Davis that played for Carolina after he was close to washed up and he put up really nice numbers Just my two cents
