pig devilz
Rotowire posted this about Slaton this week... Slaton was the only back getting carries against the Vikings as Ahman Green was inactive because of a groin injury. Slaton did well on Sunday, but the Texans are unsure he can survive long term as a full-time back. (Rotowire.com) cant find anything to back this up....besides, do they have much of a choice? anything in Houston about this?....would hate to see his touches drop around playoff time

So, they're not exactly giving him the Jamal Anderson treatment as it is...I don't see his workload going down when he's their 2nd best weapon on offense. i_am_the_swammi
Might be interesting to note that Eagle cast-off Ryan Moats (who played well in place of Westbrook at times over the last couple years) was promoted from the practice squad last week. While he didn't see much action this past week (likely due to his infamiliarity with the schemes), it is expected he get some action to ensure Slaton isn't overworked. Look for Moats to get 4-5 carries per game while Green is out, if nothing else to ensure Slaton stays in the 18-22 range versus the 22-26 carries range.
