Chadman
Picked him up in the late stages of our auction for a buck, held on to him until the week before he went off, now watching in horror.
hukdon49ers
Just accepted a trade for him a few minutes ago. I'm kinda hoping now that he will AT LEAST level out a bit so I wont look too stupid. BTW I got DeAngello Williams for him.
1stand10
Miles two huge games have been against a couple of poor pass defenses rates 29th and 25th. His comning schedule against pass defenses 16,5,10,3,15,1,13,14,3 I know he will be the number 1 guy now, "Williams who?" but will Romo be competent enough to get him the ball consistantly? We had gone over Romo a billion times here and as far a a big game december qb and all of that he is shaky at best. As far as a fantasy qb he can make a fantasy star out of you real quick . Dont worry about Romo as far as getting him the ball and putting up fantasy numbers
LayLow
He is a STUD I picked him up the week he was on the bye because I knew he would be gone this week. Played him this week and every week going forward he will be in my lineup.
1stand10
Stud after two weeks? Against two bad defenses? Don't get me wrong I hope he is since I also picked him up two weeks ago. I didn't start him, although I wish I had but I "wanted another week" to see if he could produce again. I have bothe Steve Smiths, Ocho and Marshall. I start two wr would anyone "right now" start Austin over anyone of my wrs? I don't think I would yet..... Wr for sale....... hopefully can snag MJD
LayLow
Stud as he is Romo's only real WR option and Dallas with be throwing. NYG steve smith is lost in the shuffle man...get over him

He is crushing Marshall and I would start him in a hearbeat over him.
Samson
To be perfectly fair, Miles Austin is a great talent and will do well in the league . . . but he's also flown under the radar. Now that the cat's out of the bag, we'll see how he battles through scheming and double teams to take him away. Things that guys like Ochocinco have battled through already. I'm not sure how he'll meet those challenges, but think he's for real. No so for real that I think his 2 games place him above elite fantasy WRs just yet. Oh, and for the record, I would start Austin over both Steve Smiths if the match up made sense. Edited October 26, 2009 by Samson
LayLow
Yeah, smiths are as likely to have big games as Austin. I'd say Austin is def a top 20 WR rest of the way

I personally thought the Falcons D might hold him back a little.....but he seemed to have his way with them... Dallas has Witten and a strong backfield which might prevent other teams from focusing on Austin so much...because Witten and one of the RB's will kill you if you focus too much on Austin.... LayLow
DING DING DING I don't know about you..but I love seeing my STUD play vs crappy D's and put up nearly 30 fantasy points. Thats what this is all about
RickC
I dropped Crayton for Austin as soon as I learned Crayton had lost his job. Thankfully I had enough waiver priority. Now I think Crayton may take Williams job the way Williams is playing.
jordanzs
Last week, another owner in our league OFFERED this trade to me: I give Coffee (he has Gore) and Derek Mason I get McGahee (I have Rice) and Miles Austin I didn't jump for joy, but I did accept the trade & plugged Austin in this week. The other owner is kicking his a$$ now for giving up Austin, especially cause he was short with MSW & Mason (who he just traded for) on bye weeks. Oh well.
