Tripleshot
At one point today while watching the games with my father-in-law, with whom I've been playing fantasy football for 16+ years, I commented on the big games from Bowe, Ochocinco, Evans, and Johnny Knox's first TD of the season. I remarked that all it would take is a Colston TD and redemption weekend would be complete(it happened 5 minutes later, lol). Throw in a Cadillac sighting(TD reception for the game winner, one of his 8 receptions on the day) and we even got a bonus. Now, going forward, does this weekend change anything regarding how you feel about these guys going forward? Do you ride Bowe's hot streak or is the party over after two super soft macthups? Will there be more balance now between TOcho? Is this the one good game from Evans will have all year? Is Colston ready to play more like himself the rest of the way? Discuss! billay
FWIW, Bowe and the Chiefs have had 7 week to get acclimated to a new offensive scheme. Evans has a new QB.
Square
I dropped Knox so of course he finally gets a TD. You're welcome.
Chargerz
I have started Colston every week this year because I figured he would finally have a good week. This was the week. I'm probably going to start him all season long unless he gets hurt or the matchup is incredibly awful. This strategy could obviously backfire on me, but he's just too good to bench. I am in the same exact boat other than I will try to be selling high on Colston asap. I drafted him as a WR#1 and yeah he had a good game, but I just think the consistency won't really be there even for the 2nd half of this season. Call it the madden curse on brees if you want, but I learned my lesson on drafting Colston as a WR #1 when he's really more of a high WR#2. In other news, I've been rooting for Bowe hard all this season and I feel like he can have an impact on the 2nd half of the season. With Kansas having one of the more softer schedules, im rolling the dice on Bowe as a nice WR#2 based on matchups. /rant
SayItAintSoJoe
My big conumdrum is what to do with Lee Evens going forward. I've had him on the bench for his last 2 games and I've missed out on his good performances. Meanwhile I've had Larry Fitz in my line-up just taking up space. It looks like it's going to be Evans over Fitz going forward. What is the world coming to?
