mkoff32
In a 12 team snake draft in a league with standard scoring, would you trade your first overall pick for someones 4th overall pick if you were getting his 5th round pick in return? I'd also have to throw in my 10th rounder....
CrimsonGhost
I have been offered a similar trade. Instead of my tenth as a throw in I would give up my 7th. I would consider this. I helps even more if you know who people may be drafting ahea dof you. In this case the player really wants Arron Rodgers (we live in WI). I am already on the fence about drafting the QB myself, feeling more comfortable taking a RB at this spot. You would be getting good value but potentialy loosing out on one of the top RBs. Are you alright taking Rodgers or Megatron?
detlef
I would. Above all, I really want one of the top 3 backs and I have yet to do a mock that hasn't had Rodgers go 1-3, so there's a very, very good chance you get one anyway. Worst case, you get either Rodgers or Megatron and that doesn't suck either. On the other hand, I do think the draft is 60 deep of very usable guys, so I'd love an extra pick there in exchange for a pick in the draft that, historically, will give you waiver fodder. tazinib1
people moving up to the 1.1 almost ALWAYS surrender at least a 3rd. I think you can get much more than a 5th.

But it's a bit different if you're getting back a top 4 pick, and not say the 1.09 or 1.
stethant
So you're giving up picks 1 and 120 and getting picks 4 and 52 in return, is that right? If so, you're making out quite nicely.

euphy
I gave up the 1.12 and 2.1 to move up to 1.3 and 4.9 ... I'm taking Drew Brees with the 3rd pick. First two picks are Rodgers and Brady.
