Ram Tough
So the combined record of the NFC West is the best in football after 2 weeks. Beat NE, Dallas, Washington, and Detroit today! Only loses are a division matchup and the Rams being screwed by ref's who can't figure out who to run a clock vs Detroit!! Is this the year that the NFC West stops being the doormat of the league??? As a Rams fan id like to think this could be one of the hardest divisions in football in the near future!!
Scooby's Hubby
Seattle at home, the Arizona defense, the absolute dominant SF team on both sides of the ball and then there is the StL mustache brigade with hard running and no name WRs. The division is young at QB and on defense. I see good things for these teams this year.

i_am_the_swammi
Side bet? For every NFC division with a greater winning percentage than the NFC West, you pay me $10. For every division the NFC West beats, I pay you $10. Cool?

Well in that case, his statement is completely false, since they weren't the doormat of the league last year. NFC West: 30-34 AFC South: 26-

Seahawks21
The jury is still out on how good the division is, I'm just amazed at how much different it is. 5-10 years ago, you had the greatest show on turf. the Cards' Kurt Warner offense, the Holmgren WCO finesse Seahawks, and the 49ers, who were always known for finesse offense. Now you've got 3 of the nastier defenses in the league, with all four offenses based on a power running game. This isn't pretty, west coast football anymore. detlef
Update: NFC West currently tied with NFC and AFC North and leading everyone else. Most by 2 games and the AFC West, well they just plain suck. So, these last 3 weeks are huge, given that each conference has 6-8 more out-of-division games remaining. In fact, this week is particularly so as all NFC West teams are playing outside the division.
i_am_the_swammi
this bet kept things interesting for sure....moreso than the performance of a couple of my fantasy teams You may end up sweeping this bet, or you may up paying me a couple bucks....a lot riding on this weekend's four out-of-division games. Last week's walk-off win by the Rams as time expired could be the one we point to when all is said and done. The tampa loss to the Eagles could also be one where I might have ended up needing another "W" from the NFC South.
