Gopher
For what it's worth, Harvin looked very good yesterday, in the limited time that he saw the field. I'm not going to say he looked like the Harvin of old, because we really didn't see enough of a sample size, but he looked quick and explosive in the few touches he did get. I'd say he becomes a much bigger factor going forward, starting with the huge game against the Saints in two weeks. That said, at the end of the day, it's still only one catch for 17 yards. And, with yesterday's results (and SEA now holding a 3-game lead on SF), it becomes more likely that Week 17 doesn't mean anything. Of course, the Saints game will have a huge impact on that... If New Orleans pulls off the victory in Seattle, and the Seahawks manage to lose another game somewhere (at SF, or even at NYG with the Giants now in the playoff chase), there is also a good chance that SEA and NOS are fighting for home field, right down to the last week of the regular season. Either way, at most, Harvin is going to play five games. I'd be very surprised if he hits 30 receptions on the season. Does that mean I wouldn't start him? Depends. I'm not going to start him over another top 15-20 WR, most likely, but if my options are limited, I think he's worth the risk (against the Saints). And, that game should give us a decent gauge on where he's at, going forward, from that point on.

FIXED (The Cardinals have the same record as the 49ers)
