tazinib1
Injuries have destroyed me in 2 leagues and I'm hanging on by a thread in another only because I have a strong WR/TE core. But man..I can barely keep up and have just about thrown in the towel. Every week I'm affected. I can't recall this many injuries to top players in the 20 years I've been addicted to this (the really bad word)ing stupid (the really bad word)ing game. Cowboyz1
Yep, it's the new CBA taking effect. They aren't preparing their bodies for the hits. Players are getting softer as a result of limited padded practices and cup cake training camps.

Men are faster, men are bigger - it's a matter of physics more so than anything else. Plus - most men won't further risk damage just to play the game. Some are unable to, most don't get the chance with the structure that's in place.

A lot of the injuries are non contact. Meaning injuring themselves without being hit. I have seen many injuries as result of cuts, or movements rather then hits. To your point though, players are getting faster and stronger as result of the tech being used to fine tune their bodies. However, you can't tell me that going into violence you must have your body prepped for it. I recall Bill Parcells practicing on a High School field with two a days full pads. That team went to the super bowl. So there has to be something with having your body hardened by hitting in practice. I could be wrong but I don't recall so many soft tissue injuries and players just going down for what ever reason.
HTTR_a
I lost DeSean Jackson (ended up trading him away once he was on IR), Keenen Allen, and Jamaal Charles this season. Pretty lame!
AX2RUN
I would agree. In my league all of the top teams are running on suprise stars. Really we might as well have skipped the first 2 rounds of the draft. Outside of Julio, Gronk, A. Brown, and Peterson all of the players in those rounds have been busts or injured at some point
isleseeya
a very very tough year for injuries in terms of the number and severity
bearjew289
Leveon, Foster, Lewis, Forsett and Big Ben owner here....it's just starting to get ridiculous at this point. Went from one of the best RB cores in the history of my 12 team league to nothing in 3 weeks. And I know there's still injuries left to come
