GOB1
What a great weekend, Upset city. As I predicted, I just predicted the wrong teams to lose. And those in state rivals WOW!! I knew they would be close, just not that close.Gotta hand it to those Sooners, winning a close game on the road against there in state rivals. And my wolverines, what a classic, Got to hand it to the spartans, they played a great game, I never would have thought a team could run on us like they did. Hey Ryan, still think there no way 2 big ten teams make it in the Bcs. Michigan and Wisconsin have to win out, buti if they do, I see know way that dont get in. Wisconsin has a tough road, and Michigan has to play there rivals in columbus. Its all in there hands. Should be good. We here alot about Peterson and White, but Edwards and Hart, are not to bad either, usually by this time, theres a clear front runner, time will tell.Just curious Ryan, I see u changed your pick, White instead if Peterson. GOB1
Makes sense, lets hope peterson doesnt pull a Clarett. I guess time will tell. I think we can both say, our freshman rbs are pretty good. Hart has 3 200yd games the last 3 weeks. Pretty impressive for both backs. Before u jump all over this, Im not comparing. Im just saying we both look pretty good for the future with our running games. Has there ever been a Back to back Heisman winner? I cant see the voters voting for white again, not that hes not deserving, I may be wrong. What do u base your voting on, Does this reward go to the best college football player, or to the Mvp? Kind of a trick question I guess. I think this reward goes to the most dominate Player in college football.
URLACHERisGOD
Personally I dont think they give it to a freshman, and the most deserving candidate after Peterson is White. 527376 I thought this was pretty neat. It's listed at ESPN.com's Heisman page. Last Performance -- Jason White was dominant in the first half, but his biggest problem in the Heisman race may be the best player in the country is on his team. White's 3 TDs should keep him the in mix, but he'll have a tough time convincing people he's more worthy than teammate Adrian Peterson. Fury
Leinart's stats would be a lot better if he got to pass much in the second half. He probably doesn't have a fourth-quarter pass in five of eight games.
theeohiostate
Peterson couldn't fill Claretts Jock The NFL will soon prove this point as Clarett roles in the bigs and Peterson may, if he's lucky, turn out as good as Griffin YOU KNOW, SARGE, the NFL does play DEFENSE, something Peterson has yet to face in the big
BIG A
Peterson couldn't fill Claretts Jock The NFL will soon prove this point as Clarett roles in the bigs and Peterson may, if he's lucky, turn out as good as Griffin YOU KNOW, SARGE, the NFL does play DEFENSE, something Peterson has yet to face in the big 12 528563 This is getting insane. I know you don't really believe that statement. You are just trying to get Sgt. Ryan riled up. I don't like OU, but talent is talent. Peterson is better than 3/4 of the RBs in the nfl right now, and that maybe a conservative %. If you stick him in the backfield behind Daunte Culpepper, he would rush for 2000 yards. I don't know how fast he is exactly, maybe 4.4 speed. College football has not seen the likes of this talent since Hershel Walker, Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, or Eric Dickerson. Clarett will most likely be forgotten in 5 years.
URLACHERisGOD
Peterson couldn't fill Claretts Jock 528563 This is the big difference between The Sooners and The Buckeyes. We here in Oklahoma don't want anything to do with other people's jocks. I realize you up there in Ohio want to get into and fill other players jocks but, we're just not like that down here in Oklahoma. OSWho is barking up the wrong tree here at The Huddle. You may want to go try a website like gay.com for your pleasure needs OSWho.
