  1. Timmy, could you please give some back up on this post.......Some of us are relying on this guy........Please dont mess around on this situation.......If this is true I am going to have to start Gus.
  2. What exactly "football condition" ????? He looked fine and I am not sure why it took Bettis' knee injury to get him activated. He looked like he was in "football condition" on Sunday. What's up with the Duce?????? Is he the new starter?????? l
  3. After watching S. Smith and his Zorro imitation it looks like the improvisation is getting worn out. Place yourselves in a jersey for a second. What would your endzone celebration consist of????
  4. You have to admit Duce looked solid tonight. Some real decent cuts on those bad knees.
  5. The first thing I thought of was the Panther cheerleaders.
  6. I haven't heard how severe Willie's ankle is, but Staley's excellent showing could be trouble if you are a Parker owner. The Steelers 3 headed monster is a merry-goround, whoever is hot gets the rock. From what I saw on Sunday it looks like Staley might have got his job back. Duce looked revamped.
  7. Loog, you are right on the mark. In La. locals have more important things to deal with at this time, like day to day life. Rather than traveling to Baton Rouge to go to a football game in a car that got washed away, they are probably trying to find a job or something more important. If Benson thinks like Ursa and moves the team based on Baton Rouge attendence than thats just sad.
  8. I am afraid of this game. Farves going to pull one out sooner or later. And now Ben and Bus are shelved. Could be a long day in Lambeau for the Black and Gold. Steelers are going to need a big day out of the "D".
  9. Don't want to sound like one of those "Told you so guy's", but I knew this Taylor ankle thing was a hoax. Owners beware, I think more coaches will be using the Patriots method of reporting injuries to throw a monkey wrench into the game plan. Unlike STD's there is no remedy for GTD's
  10. The thing is it's so hard to curse out Holt, because he is usually pretty steady and is in there on all plays. He's no Randy, where you have to roll the dice and take your chances. Although I will give Moss credit when the chips were down last week he did step up an play through the pain of his spirained uterus, I just wish he would have let someone know before 1:00.
  11. DMD, look at it this way, all that scurrying around is a nice "adrenaline boost" and a great way to start a spectacular football Sunday. I know, I sound like Mary F@%^#$* Poppins, but just trying to make some Lynchburg Lemonade out of the Lemons Holt is throwing at ya. Good luck this weekend.
  12. It's so obvious. You are RB heavy and WR light. Put Dunn on the block after his MNF outburst and while Ducketts ailing. This should land you a good return at Wideout, you need it. Do it now man!!!! Before it's too late!!! Oh yea back to the question. It's worse to suck at the draft.
  13. Here's a question. As you roll out of bed on Sunday morning after a long night of drinking and carousing. What are the three worst letters in the alphabet???? If you don't play fantasy football your first response might be STD. If you do play the three letters you don't want to hear are GTD. I have come to believe that all of the teams have now adopted the Pat's strategy of the "guessing game" and it is not only F%$#&**# with the opponent, but also the Fantasy world. Take for an example the F. Taylor incident. He is good to go all the way through the bye week and all of a sudden he tweeks his ankle on Friday......... The Rams spend the whole week preping for a Jag's offense with a run heavy Fred, healthy as can be. And then BOOM!!!!! Now they have to restructure the "D" to focus on the pass. If you ask me this is a smart thing to do. Now come Sunday Fred's ankle "feels better" and he runs for 150 yards. Genius move by DelRio don't you think ???????Same with Belicheck and the Dillon situation. It's seems to be mind games at this point. The problem is that while Coach Rio and Bill B play their mind games I have to bench Fred for fear of zero points and start P. Pass not knowing if Dillon is going to play!!!!! Here is a list of Questionable/Headbangers for the week. What's the deal with these guys????? Are their coaches F#%^@*# with us??? Gates, Conwell, Caddy, Taylor, Moss, Roy Williams, Dillon, Holt, C. Brown, Horn, Foster...... ...For crying out loud even Kaeting and Mare are questionable. But than again that's what makes Fantasy Football so great. It's all a big guessing game with a little bit of stratagy. Gotta love it. Good luck to all your teams this weekend.
  14. I am the Concessions Manager for the Disney on Ice, Finding Nemo show. We are currently on a 36 week tour of the West Coast. I live on strict diet of Dominos pizza and Arena Death Dogs, so this thred helps me visualize some good Sunday afternoon grubbin. This is also the same time that the jelousy sets in, as I hear about all this grillin and steamin.
  15. Can I just say that this is both my favorite and least favorite weekly thread. I travel for a living and am in a different city and different arena every week for 10 months out of the year. I live on arena hot dogs and watch my games in my "locker room" office TV if there is one, NFL Gamecenter is my fantasy lifeline. This week I am in Bakesfield, CA. and the Sunday Cuisine looks like it will be the Loaded Nachos with a chicken salad wrap and fries. I envy all you huddlers who will be firing up your crock pots and smokers, but you give me hope that one day I will be doing the same and can put the Sunday afternoon Nacho platter to rest. Thanks so much and keep writing these mouth watering recipies as I am jotting them down and will be using them when I get off the road.
