  1. I just realized we loose points as well for PK's missing FG's Having to use a PK IMO is lame enough, but to receive NEGATIVE points is just f*ing lame And don't get me started on using punters Oh and f*you Hartley!!
  2. Doubt he goes to the bench. For who Ingram, maybe Allen? I doubt it but I guess anything is a possibility. It's been clear for sometime now that his MLB spot was in jeopardy but I don't think they throw him totally to the curb. He's still the most atheltic LB on the team. Either way his value has taken a huge hit since the beginning of last year and that was my point in my being frustrated as Durant owner in 2 leagues.
  3. Well there's the final nail in the coffin for Durant having any shot at hanging onto the MLB spot. Guy went from a nice LB1 with top 10 upside starting last year to a borderline LB3 if he can stay on in the nickel
  4. Agree, love that we added Iupati to the mix as well, very solid 1st round for the 49ers
  5. And they only have 1 divisional game in those first 4 weeks which is at home and then a bye to get him ready
  6. As a Cotchery owner Holmes owner Cotchery and Holmes owner W'T'F?? A 5th round pick?
  7. That's why I said maybe jackass and yeah it could be depending on how they value the specific pick, who's available, etc.
  8. As a Lynch owner in 2 leagues it would be nice for him to be shipped off to SD, don't see why BUF would move him for a 5th though, maybe for a 4th, but I agree he's probably not going to bring much more than that. I am thinking in the end he unfortunately stays on as Jackson's backup whether he likes it or not.
  9. Would be absolutely thrilled if they came out of the 1st round with those 2 picks.
  10. About Wish I had the time to give this a go, looks like a great league and Zia is a top notch dude.
  11. Sad day for the league but good for him. The guy is a class act and I look forward to seeing him inducted into the HOF someday. Here's to a great run
  12. This is one area where I have to disagree. Other than DB's, more specifically CB's where the "rookie rule" applies, stud talent reigns supreme. Guys like Revis and Asomugha who are the rare "shutdown" type corner and the rare exception, the most talented IDP's are the guys that typically score the most, scheme permitting, especially regarding LB's and DL's. DB's tend to be a crap shoot from year to year but there are plenty of guys who perform well year to year and not because they are on the crappier half of the talent spectrum. They are the ones who play all 3 downs and who are the foundation of their defense. In every IDP league I play in a top LB can score almost as much as a top WR / RB. I agree that it does take a bit more time to keep up with but if the scoring / lineup requirements are designed well it takes playing FF to a whole other level IMO. I could never imagine playing with a TEAM DEF again, but it's probably an acquired taste for sure. ETA - Actually after looking at Revis' final scoring in several of my leagues he was the #8 CB overall and the #28 DB overall.
  13. How about 5th? Please refrain from being a tool or don't post anymore, TIA. Maiava was the one who came in for Jackson after he left so he's probably the best bet in the near future.
  14. Was having the same problem with a pop up warning about an adobe acrobat plug-in failure. Took Atomic's advice in the thread below and disable it, seems to be working. Running a virus scan now. Since I have been using the forum's here on a pretty regular basis, about 2 years, I have had to dump my computer twice do to nasty virus' that I acquired here at the Huddle, and I know it was from the Huddle because both times it was the first place I visited the day both attacks happened. The most recent was just a few months ago from some virus that was embedded on the home page and the other was sometime last year, I think during our initial draft for AOTAOP. If my leagues were not all hosted here on the board I would probably seriously consider not coming around that often if at all.
  15. Nope, starting March 1st up until the start of the draft they can trade him. He may not work out for any other team before the draft without the permission of the 49ers and may not play for the 49ers this year if he is not signed by Nov 17th. IIRC the original offer was something like 5 years for $20 million w/ $16 million guaranteed. They are deducting $200K a game for every game he misses which comes from the 5 year (80 games) $16 million guarantee. There is also talk that they are willing to offer him a deal w/ incentives that would put his total deal at $1 less than that of the 9th pick Raji. I have not heard anything about him not wanting to play for the 49ers because of the QB situation, from what I have been reading it's always been about perceived value. I understand the 49ers position to not pay him more than his slot even though I would love to have the kid signed.
