  1. Not much thought needed on this one. Keep LT, Bush, and Gates. You'll have no regrets later.
  2. Thanks for the thoughts sdrewp75. I agree my WR's aren't great. They're young and a year or two from being at the head of the class. My whole team is young. As far as Westbrook I was looking to add a little experience to the lineup but am worried about his knees. It doesn't benefit me if I have an experienced RB on the bench with injuries. Plus he'll be 29 this Sept. Approaching that magic 30 year old plateau. Thanks again.
  3. I play in 3 total keeper leagues and I never stop studying. For me football season never ends. Our league members negotiate trades, accept trades, and plan for the draft all in the beginning of the season. (We don't have an off season). So, my words to you are to keep up what your doing. It'll pay off with a championship pretty soon.
  4. I'd keep the 2 No Brainers + Fitzgerald.
  5. Vick is so up one week and down the next that I'd trade him for the 2008 1st rounder. You have Brees and Schaub so cut loose of Vick if you've found a sucker to take him. That's one man's opinion
  6. Hi Everyone, I'm looking at a trade offer for my 1.01 draft pick in a 12 team total keeper league. We score points for yards, Td's, receptions, and carries. I have the 1.01 pick. If I keep the 1.01 I'll draft either A. Peterson RB (Vikings) or M. Lynch RB (Buffalo). If I accept the trade offer I'll receive the 1.03 draft pick + Brian Westbrook. In that case I'd take the remaining player of the big three: Peterson, Lynch, or Calvin Johnson WR. I would be giving up the 1.01 + Brandon Jacobs RB (Giants). This is my current roster: QB's= T. Romo, J. Williams, R. Grossman; RB's= Caddy Williams, L. Maroney, B. Jacobs, T. Bell, M. Bell, C. Dillon; WR's= M. Colston, Reg. Brown, J. Galloway, Santonio Holmes, Greg Jennings, C. Henry, Michael Clayton; TE's= LJ Smith; What do you think? Keep the 1.01 or trade for Westbrook + 1.03? Thanks for your thoughts.
  7. I'm going with BELL ahead of PARKER Let's not over look the fact, when talking about running games, that Denver came within about 20 or 30 yards of producing two 1,000 yard rushers in 05. Bell got his yards on about 10 carries per game. I think Shanahan is pumping Bell up for a big year this year. Making him hungry. Ron Dayne doesn't impress me at all. Dayne, in my opinion, doesn't have enough gas to be close to a Mike Anderson. Thus in his 3rd year Bell will be a force in Denver's running game. I see Bell fighting through any minor injuries this year in order to be THE MAN and put up big numbers. I'm thinking 1400+ RuYd, 8-10 RuTD's, 400 RecYd and 2-3 RecTD's. Shanahan just has to give Bell the carries, 20-25 per game. On the other side. Willie is going to be the RB between the 20's. Someone else will do the goal line carries. Duce? Hopefully not. The Steelers have been talking to the Falcons about T.J. Duckett. If the Falcons find out that Jerrious Norwood can take Duckett's place then Duckett will be mooching carries and TD's from Willie. I think Willie gets 1150+ RuYd, 5-6 RuTD's, 75 RecYD and 0 RecTD's. I had both players on my Dynasty League team. I traded Parker and kept Bell. I'm not a Denver or Steeler's fan so that doesn't come into play in my decision. Hope this helps you with your decision.
  8. My reasoning for PLAX being rated that high The Giants Defense is real strong this year. Thus giving the ball over to the offense much much more. That means more opportunities for the whole offense.
  9. I say Larry Johnson #1, S. Alexander #2 and LT #3. The only reason I say LT #3 is not knowing how the QB position will affect him. Defenses might stack the line against him and force Rivers to prove he can throw. The Chargers have a good TE but weak WR's. But, don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled to have LT. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of the 3.
  10. I'd drop Palmer And Dom.Davis. Davis knees scare the heck out of me. I'd KEEP: R. Brown, K. Johnson, W. Parker, C. Chambers, R. Moss. K. Johnson should be much better this year in Mike Martz's offense. W. Parker will get the rock mostly between the 20 yard lines but is a threat to break off a TD from anywhere (Note; the steelers are talking T.J. Ducket with the Falcons) goal line duty in place of the retired Bus. Duce will disappear if this happens. In a 8 team league you'll be able to get a good QB and maybe even pick up Palmer again if everyone is afraid to take a chance on him. GOOD LUCK
