  1. make that trade and don't think twice
  2. Take a stud WR, and one of those guys RB's, either Gore or Taylor or even Parker or Dunn could be there for you in the 3rd
  3. make the trade, and throw in a jar of vasoline!
  4. my only concern is I have seen peanut brittle tougher than he has shown to be, the talent is there, but is the heart and toughness?
  5. I will say this, McGahee has a sweet playoff schedule. Jets, Miami and Tennessee to finish up looks about as good as you can get. I have made the playoffs in this league every year, so this is a definite benefit for as well
  6. I think these guys are pretty even myself, however take a look at SJax's schedule, it is pretty sweet
  7. I will go with the team that knocks me out every year.... DENVER
  8. Like this squad, especially if Warner can stay healthy
  9. The only reason I didnt list him is because there QB situation scares the POOH outta me. Any defense can just stack the box against them until Losman proves he can beat them. I LOVE McGahee, always have, just not a huge fan of the surrounding talent around him or his line. But the theme in the NFL this year seems to be concerns with the O-Line, so I may have to just move O-Line concerns down a bit.
  10. Thanks for the insight. You definitely just added something else for me to think about!
  11. What makes you like McGahee here? I love his talent, but not his line
  12. Was looking for a little help in a situation that got a little bit murky over the past 24 hours I pulled the 4 slot in my league which is drafting Saturday. Each team was allowed on keeper from the previous season in the slot that they drafted them in the year prior. I am able to hold Cadillac in the 4th, so I have a RB in the stable before I pick. The Keepers of note in this league are as follows Alexander LT Ronnie Brown Cadillac Tiki Steve Smith All other keepers in this league would not go in the first 2 rounds of any regular draft without keepers. I was able to get the info from the first 3 drafters, and know that LJ is going first, followed by SJax, then Edge with the third pick. I was all about taking Portis and putting together a strong 1-2 punch at RB, but with all the drama w/ the injury and Duckett trade, I am weary. I consider my options with this pick as Portis, Manning, Rudi or with a stretch possibly Lamont Jordan. (anyone else you think may be an option here please do add) Scoring is 1 pt for every 10 yards rushing and receiving, 1 pt for every 25 yards passing 6 points for all touchdowns Bonus 3 points for 100 rushing/300 passing Bonus 5 points for every 200 rushing/400 passing All help is greatly appreciated in advance. I also want to throw in that this league has been around for 4 years and has been RB heavy every year.
  13. average team with some upside at the WR position. You really need a #2 RB to emerge for you to compete. You can play matchups with your WR's. If you can pull a trade or pick up an impact player on the waiver wire you could be OK. I would be much happier with this squad in a 12 team league
  14. the team giving up manning is catching the worse of the deal, if you are getting manning pull the trigger, if not don't
  15. McGahee, the other 2 have competition. He may be in the worst offense of the 3, but he at least will get every opportunity to post number being he has no one who is even close to his talent on the roster
