  1. Its hard to get worthwhile RBs in a 14 team league. IF Dez and DT breakout this season you may have a championship team. I like your depth at WR too. This is probably an above average team. You're definitely going to need to make a move for an actual backup QB. Brandon Weeden might be left behind. A league like that you always need to be on the lookout for sleeper RBs. Want to join a league with a 27 Man keeper roster? http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/380842-i-need-2-owners-for-a-dynasty-league/
  2. I agree you need to a proven quantity or two for Foster if you're going to move him. Harvin with his concussion and his H-Back style of play is a huge Question mark ever year. Maclin is a second fiddle and Vick is up and down as a passer. Sproles is old and the Saints offense is in constant flux. The person offering the trade is probably not going to keep those players so its a throw away trade for him. Go after one of his actual keepers with Foster. What does the other team look like?
  3. Where was Gore in your RB Scoring in that league? Are you really worried about LeMichael James or Brandon Jacobs? The 9ers are going to ride Gore hard again. Yes he is old but all signs point to another 1200 yard and 5+ TDs. Austin and V-Jax have way too many Qs imo. Austin was 3rd fiddle by the end of last season. Laurent Robinson is gone and Dez Bryant will likely be suspended but I still don't know if I can trust Austin. V-Jax in Tampa on paper sounds good. FA WRs in reality perform bad in their first year on the new team. Gore and Rice lets you focus on WRs early in the draft. You can take the best one off the board in the first round. I'd go Gore Rice
  4. Check that your league will let you keep A Pete after you make this trade. Sometimes leagues like this tag these players as unkeepable, even if they are traded they still can't be kept. R White, G Jennings are keeper quality but they're probably more like top 24 or 36 not top 12. I think people aren't responding because it seems too good to be true. You get All Day and then you get to keep him next year instead of Roddy White. I would do it in a heartbeat.
  5. 12 Teams, 1 QB, 2 WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1K, 1DST, 1FLEX(WR, RB, TE, K, DST) TD heavy scoring, 7 keepers. I recently dropped Pierre Garcon for Devery Henderson. The Saints schedule is pretty weak and there are enough balls for a second WR to get some. I watched a few Saints games and noticed that Colston is brought in and out of the game much more than you would think for traditional WR#1. They have lots of weapons and seem to constantly move different packages in and out of the game. For some reason the Robert Meachem owner recently dropped him. Who do you think has better upside this year and future year potential Meachem or Henderson? I'm thinking of dropping Henderson for Meachem. Will Meachem live up to his first round status? Rivers, Philip SDC QB Young, Vince TEN QB Brown, Ronnie MIA RB Jacobs, Brandon NYG RB Lewis, Jamal CLE RB Wells, Chris ARI RB ® Williams, Carnell TBB RB Breaston, Steve ARI WR Evans, Lee BUF WR Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR Henderson, Devery NOS WR Scheffler, Tony DEN TE Winslow, Kellen TBB TE Hauschka, Steven BAL PK Kaeding, Nate SDC PK Chargers, San Diego SDC Def
  6. Thanks. I decided not to make the trade. The other guy ended up traded Jo. Co. WR JEts for Blowseph Addai later that day. I think I made the right move.
  7. P.Crayton-Car. Carolina has looked particular good. Romo may need to sling the rock some more. This could be a good week to start Crayton. He did have a huge game in week 1 then nothing week 2, so its a roll of the dice With all of these. You'd be find rolling the dice with Robinson as well. You know the Lambs will be behind and need to sling it. You really have a tough choice. Right now I would start Crayton and then check back in before gametime. Go with your gut they are all decent options. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=298095
  8. Starting positions? Teams in the league? Your roster? I wouldn't trade Johnson for either one of those dudes.
  9. What is your WR situation? How many teams are in this league? What are your starting positions? Doesn't really seem like you're making a forward move. The Browns offense is horrible, and Choice may be in for a few weeks but Beannie is going to be a beast by the end of the season.
  10. 27 man roster dynasty keeper league. We keep all players from year to year. 1 QB, 2RB, 3 WR. 1TE, 1K, 1DST. (non ppr) I'm in a rebuilding phase and flleeced the Ronnie Brown owner in 1 week (Traded SlowWP and Michael Clayton for Ronnie Brown) Now I have an offer for Ronnie Brown. Any Ronnie Brown owner in 2008 knows that last year he 1 amazing week 1 good week then was pretty much a let down. The offer is Mark Sanchez, Jo. Cothery, and Mike Wallace. For Ronnie Brown. (have to drop 2 WRs to meet roster requirements so I'm going to throw in Joe Galloway and Juaquin Iglasis if they other guy wants them) Remeber this Dynasty and Sanchez can be QB of the future. Opinions Current Roster: Edwards, Trent BUF QB Favre, Brett MIN QB (P) Pennington, Chad MIA QB Brown, Ronnie MIA RB Jacobs, Brandon NYG RB James, Edgerrin SEA RB Jones, Greg JAC RB McCoy, LeSean PHI RB Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB (P) Williams, Carnell TBB RB Berrian, Bernard MIN WR Bryant, Antonio TBB WR (Q) Galloway, Joey NEP WR Garcon, Pierre IND WR Iglesias, Juaquin CHI WR Jenkins, Michael ATL WR Johnson, Bryant DET WR Massaquoi, Mohamed CLE WR Sweed, Limas PIT WR (Q) Wade, Bobby KCC WR Keller, Dustin NYJ TE McMichael, Randy STL TE Scaife, Bo TEN TE (Q) Akers, David PHI PK Prater, Matt DEN PK Bills, Buffalo BUF Def Chargers, San Diego SDC Def
  11. Being able to start a QB at FLEX, makes me question the scoring system. Usually QBs score more total points per week on average than other positions in a basic scoring system. Meaning the #12 QB usually scores as much as the #5 RB. But because in most league you can only start 1 QB its all about relative points. Unless you guys tweaked the QB scoring where QBs get 1 point per 50 yards passing or something like that. How could you not start a QB in your flex spot? Every week you should have Hasselsuck or Flaggo in this flex spot. Don't bother looking at the matchups of your WR RB or TEs. QB. QB. QB. Let other teams stick in the #30 RB while you clean up by starting the #15 QB. From a relative points perspective you almost always win that Flex position if you have a QB there. Even if you dont take my very helpful and astute advise, Hasselbeck is still the best option out of your choices.
  12. What are you talking about? PT Cruiser will be on the field most of the game.* How is this a question. A starting RB or a RB3? Has nothing to do with the fact that it says Fan of the Bills to the left of this post. The bigger question is why is Mike Bell on your roster? Isn't there anything better on the WW? *A few stitches and a sprain are not going to keep this guy off the field. You would be foolish to bet that Mike Bell sees more carries then a starting RB.
  13. Let me start by saying. I'm not a Chris Johnson fan in fantasy football. The guy is a lightening bolt but there is no way he makes it through 16 games. Everyone has an injury potential but this guys chances of injury are about 90%. He does 1 thing and that is run really fast in a straight line. 1 nicked up toe or ankle or hammy or knee and he can't run really fast and that what do you have? A slow sub 200 pounder that can get shoulder checked to the ground by an average sized LB. I was very surprised he was drafted so high in many leagues (I've seen go 5th???) You're options are Moreno who is banged up and ???, McCoy who is ??? as to PT, or JJ who is all question marks and the Seattle O-Line is horrible. If you had a solid option outside of Chris Johnson I would say think about but with your options your first round pick is your best choice. Why draft a guy in the first round you're not comfortable starting every week? I'm assuming he was your first round pick. If so start him.
  14. Sometimes players are starters in name only. The Cardinals backfield is going to work itself out throughout the season. If Beanie Wells plays like he did in the last Pre season game he will get the lion share of carries in the backfield. Who is named and not named the starter is less important than who gets the carries. No one knows for sure yet but I'm betting on Beanie. Last year this time Edge was the starter and Hightower was the back up. Hightower had about 8 touchdowns in the first half of the season so that shows what good the depth chart is on some teams.
