  2. sorry for the delay, i have been busy building out a new brewery as well as running our current one. busy busy busy. Thanks for the reminders! 49'ers looked a little flat when Justin Smith was out, time to get younger and move on after Cowboy is done
  3. Stop by my brewery on your way through Cambria. http://cambriabeerco.com/
  4. Sorry about this guys. I had all the best intentions of remembering this, but I haven't logged in for a few days. We just opened up our brewery on the 24th and things have been gangbusters since then. I will peek in from time to time as things as settling out now. My apologies for holding this up
  5. I will take the 49'ers. If someone else who has done it in the past wants it, then I will step aside
  6. I thought it was all ball bearings these days??
  7. Not sure if this is a good spot for this but I am about 8 weeks from opening my brewery! Cambria Beer Company. Cambria Beer Company on Facebook Just a placeholder website for Cambria Beer Co The facebook link gets updated more. If you are in the area I hope to see ya...
  8. Maybe a stupid question, but what happens to the material that enters a black hole?
  9. Thanks for the support guys. I am going to start with 3 beers. A Pale Ale, A Robust Porter, and an Amber or an Irish Red. I will have a Stout to debut in the 2nd month, and a Saison for the 3rd month. Bottles, kegs, and tasters at the tap room. One of my friends in the brew club owns a beer distributing company and he will help me get into accounts to start out with! but for now distribution will be out of the tap room, and a few deliveries of kegs to bars and restaurants. I already have 3 accounts just based off of tastings of the homebrew so I am well on my way. Low overhead, got a smoking deal on rent in town. I will be looking into doing some barrel aged beers too. Location is in Cambria California along Highway 1, south of Monterey, north of Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo. Feds received their 40 page application packet yesterday! To quote Pearl Jam: 'the waiting drove me mad!'. Facebook: Cambria Beer Company temporary website: Sign up for email updates, please
  10. 99 + weeks on the unemployment with no job offers in sight. So I think i will start a brewery! Mailed off my application to the Feds yesterday, and I have an interview with the California ABC board on Monday. Time to ruin a hobby in hopes of some cash!! LOL Details: It will be a 7 barrel brewery or a nano-brewery as they are called now. Serving beer out of the tasting room. I live in a coastal beach community with a ton of wineries and wine tasting shops around but nothing for beer. This has been something the wife & I have been talking about for years now. I should know the results of the applications and interviews in about 90 days. Cheers!!
  11. I just changed the word burrito to the letters you posted. Worked just fine...
  12. When i get it all settled out, I will let everyone know! but there will no distribution outside of San Luis Obispo County in the near future.
  13. The LLC thread was informative and timely for me as I am looking at opening a brewery in my hometown. I did a domain search and found that the name I wanted has been claimed as of March 2010, and expires in March 2012. A quick, although I don't know how thorough, search shows that the name I want is not trademarked. Now if trademark the name before the other fella does or realizes then I can maybe talk him out of the website name when it expires, and that would about the time I expect to open up for business. Sound like a good plan or do you think the guy will tell me to pound sand. Currently he is just squatting on the domain name and isn't looking to open a brewery soon. He has no experience in this area. Also should I just stick to calling my brewery something similar and just bypass the old name altogether. It would be Hometown Beer Company as opposed to Hometown Brewing Co. Hometown is not the name I am using just using this as an example. I own the Hometown Beer Company domain name already. Thanks in advance, and when I get going one free beer if you mention the Huddle when you come in for a pint! Inhiding
