  1. I'm not on the Ellington train.... I'd go Forte he is in a high powered up tempo system.
  2. If it's a redraft league I couldn't trade away a top RB. They are so rare and hard to come by it isn't fesible to get 2 RB2.
  3. I'm in a 16 team IDP keeper league that lets us keep 1 player at every position. I have most of my keeper figured out but the one position I'm stuck on is WR. With our heavy IDP scoring (2pts per tackle, 1pt per assisted tackle) a lot of LBs are taken after most of the QBs and RBs dry up This is a 32 rd draft so if these rds seem a little low that might be why I have 3 WR that don't conflict rd wise with my other keepers and actually might be worth keeping. RIley Cooper - 8th Pierre Garcon- 10th Rueban Randle - 13th None of these players strike me as I have to keep them as a Brandon Marshall, AJ Green, Dez Bryant or Megatron. Do you think any of these WR are a great value? These rds are right where WRs of their caliber will most likely go in the draft but I'm wondering if any of them might have upside that I'm not seeing...
  4. Good point. It should be what the league wants not what you want
  5. I was looking up a few of the top rookie IDPs this year and noticed a couple of odd listings... CJ Mosley was listed as DL Jadeveon Clowney was list as a LB (not a big surprise but worth noting) During the draft Mosley was listed as an ILB and now he's a DE??? Clowney was a DE and will most likely be all over the field mainly as a OLB. Are these listing as wierd as I think or is it fequently a problem with rookies being designated at certain positions?
  6. Espn is the best free site hands down. Plus they always have a great app for your phone. CBS is meh. It works but I'm in a league that uses it and I feel the free espn league i run is better than the CBS league that pays for the website. Plus it takes them forever to get an app out.
  7. From that data that you are showing your arguement makes perfect sense. I'd also make that arguement that the deeper a league (aka the more player you start) the more oppertunity to score. I hate when I have someone who i debated about starting blow up while sitting on my bench. I'd also look into how many bench spots you have. Expanding the roster while keeping the same limited bench may cause problems.
  8. I understand the value of Brady but there is so little talent around him. I'd much rather draft Cutler (who is going in the same range as Brady) He has so much more talent around him in Marshall, Jeffery, Forte, and Bennett.
  9. the first line up. Marshall is an elite option at WR and if all you have to do to keep him is downgrade from brees to luck I'm willing to make that move.
  10. Foster's health was one of the reason i let him go so cheap. He just came off back surgery and could bounce back or get hurt again.
  11. I'm expecting Sankey to be a volume back. He going to get points but I don't view him at a RB with great speed or open field shiftyness. I see him being a 3rd down bruiser. Bush on the other hand has speed and shiftyness plus gets the ball in the open field from the passing game and runs. Granted he might have to share duties with Bell but he will do more with less touches IMO
  12. I'm in a 16 team IDP keeper league. (non ppr) We are allowed to keep 1 player at every position (QB, RB, WR, TE, K, LB, DL and DB) It's a 32 rd draft (we start 11 IDPs) and our keepers are ranked by rd from their final pts total from last year. I was looking to keep Jay Cutler and Eddie Lacy but they both happened to be 7th rd picks. I also had Arian Foster in the 15th rd. I ended up trading Foster and my 32nd pick for a 7th rd pick. (had to trade a pick otherwise I end up with too many players from the draft) I feel I sold Foster rather cheap but I was able to keep a younger and IMO better RB. I'm suffering a little selling remorse. Did I sell Foster for too little??? Or did i make the right move of selling him on the cheap and getting what I needed to keep Lacy?
  13. All the RBs that could be drafted have question marks. I personally like Jennings but he could become a RBBC member. On the flip side he could win the starting job and be a great RB1. Patterson showed sparks of talent and even though Norv Turner is talking him up, I want to see him in action. He might have a lot of upside but his floor is pretty low as well. Floyd has shown his worth but he's going to be a #2 WR. Will that be enough value to beat out a potential Starting RB in Jennings? that is the real question
  14. I'm assuming a 1qb 2rb 2wr 1te and 1 flex line up. I like team 1 better mainly cause great rb1 and rb2. Bell and Charles make for a solid core to the team. The unstarted WRs also look strong, Evans, Cooper, and Wright on your bench? I'm sure not all of them will pop but I feel at least one will if not all of them. I'm high on Reed as well he isn't Graham but I saw flashes of talent last year. Team 2 seems alright but Brady could be falling off. He still doesn't have any really good WRs and Gronk might play this year... we hope and not get injured.. we hope.... Ellington is a nice snag but I have a fear he's not going to get enough touches to be effective. both teams aren't that bad and were these in 10 or 12 man drafts???
