I've been doing a 16 team auction for about 20 years. My strategy is always to grab 2 tier 1 players (RB/WR) or TE(worth more points in our league than WR's), then get a cheap QB and couple lower tier dependable picks and a top DEF. Then I load up on sleepers!! I would pay up to $60 for DJ / $50 for LB.

Torrey Smith was irrelevant with the 49er's the past 3-4 years. He was literally non-existent for most of his time there... I think Stills is a much safer pick.
