Whats up with the usage last night? Even before things got out of hand he wasnt seeing the field that much. He looked rusty when he was in. I'm not going into panic mode yet, the dude almost broke the all time rushing record 9 months after shredding his knee. But last night sure did not inspire much confidence. Im going to chalk it up to a year away from football and hope for a bounce back in week 2 for now.

Fantasypros.com is my new go to site for mock drafts. Their free version is good enough and you dont have to wait around for random idiots on the internet to make their picks. You can do a mock draft in 3-4 mins with thier simulator. Good stuff.

How do you know all of the other teams keepers before deciding on yours? What kind of league is this?

I started a keeper league a few seasons ago. When creating the rules for the league, myself and the other 2 co commissioners wanted a system where you sacrifice the draft round a player was taken in to keep him. We had trouble finding a fair way to deal with keeping free agents, so in the end we just decided that you cannot keep free agents. It looks like our decision can save our league all sorts of trouble like this example here. Also by not keeping FA it should keep more available talent for the draft each season. Maybe your league needs to overhaul its rule set.

All of my local leagues except one use 6pt TDs for QBs. Almost none of the information / rankings online is catered to this scoring system. How do you guys feel it effects the value of QBs? Do you think it should make Luck / Rodgers first rounders? Or do the rankings stay the same because all QBs get 6 pts?

49ers continue to be hated on by every major media outlet. I don't think we will be nearly as bad as everyone is saying. As far as fantasy goes... 49ers seem to be the king of value picks this year. Not one player on our roster costs much to get. And I feel like there is a lot of upside for the risk / reward of drafting the 49er skill positions this season. Carlos Hyde 4-6 round adp is the most expensive player to get, He is basically a young version of F. Gore. Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith are both dirt cheap and I think both could easily have WR3 seasons with WR2 upside for picks in the 8-10th. Vernon Davis is basically free. You can take him after your defense and kicker in most drafts. I dont think hes washed up and has atleast one more good season in him. The guy can still fly and is one of the fastest TEs in the game. The new TE coach has reportedly reinvigorated his love for the game. 10 TD upside. Colin Kaepernick Spent all offseason working with QB gurus and Kurt Warner on his mental and physical game. He has totally reworked his mechanics and no longer sidearms it like Vince Young. He is going to look like a different player this year. Hopefully the mental stuff took hold and his progressions will be better. High risk reward pick, but you can get him as your backup QB and he has top 5 upside. We've seen it before. But the biggest positive change is getting rid of our old Offensive Coordinator. Horrible play calling and stagnant offense should be a thing of the past. But hey, I'm just a fan. What do I know....

So now that foster is doing his foster injury thing again its time for a new plan. I am now thinking I should keep: 2nd: Julio 5th: Gronk 8th: Cooks It leaves me with no RBs but I have rounds 1,3,4 to adress that. Its looking more and more like I will have the 6th overall pick in this years draft. These players all likely to be available to be drafted this year: AP, Odell Beckam, CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, McCoy, Aaron Rodgers. Those are probably the best players that are hitting the draft pool this season. If beckham falls to me I will draft him, otherwise the options seem atleast decent. Any thoughts here? I had Carlos Hyde in the 11th and really regret dropping him early in the season last year now. But it was for OBJ.

You can probably get two top 5 receivers at 8th. Thats probably what I would do. Then hit RB hard in rounds 3/4

If I was starting a new keeper with pick 1.01 it would be hard to pass on andrew luck or aaron rodgers. My other choices would be Bell or OBJ
