SLAYER Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 All 3 playoff games yesterday had a controversy call that eventually decided the game. Two on home plate umpire calls. Now I am against replay on balls & strikes, but it just seems that there have been a lot of blown calls this year that have had major impacts on games. Don't know the answer, but it's happenning. The check swing thing is so subjective though. That call is a 50/50 shot over the course of a season. The team on the short end of the call will ALWAYS feel slighted on that call.
