Ham glaze HELP ASAP

I did a great glaze but can't remember it :tup:

brown sugar

apple jelly

crushed pineapple w/juice made it stirable

now my wife says it had Terroki (sp)in it too

 

anybody have a simple winner.....is Terroki ok ta throw in.......wanna know before i head ta church so i can p/u and then veg watchin the games :wacko:

you can do a lot of things for glazes...nothing wrong with teriyaki. i like going with a cherry or berry jelly/jam, but there's nothing wrong with apple. i think you ingredients are fine, just play with proportion so you get the thickness you desire

Exactly what Bier said. I use orange/apricot jam or jelly, OJ, molasses or brown sugar and some cinnamon and clove. Cherry is also excellant. I don't glaze it until almost done though and raise the heat a bit, uncovered. I cook most of my hams in a amber ale of some kind before the glazing starts. Experiment with what you like and have fun.
