I'm heading out to a place called McCloon's, down the Jersey shore, for an 11:30 brunch tomorrow with the entire family to treat all the moms. We'll probably head back to my house for a barbeque after brunch and a little shopping down in the center they have around the area. Should be a great day. What do you all have planned for tomorrow? I had planned to do all sorts of fun stuff with my two boys for my wife (and my stopmom who is visiting us). But as it turns out, that ain't going to happen since I am sick as a dog and am running a 102.5 fever. (I spent four hours in the local urgent care center to get checked out and came away without any real diagnosis. They attempted to test me for the flu (by sticking a long q-tip into my brain via my nose and then twisting it around for about 30 painful seconds) but then they came back ten minutes later and said that they were out of the rapid-response flu kits. (Apparently, everybody and their brother is getting tested for the flu up here since my county has about 50 confirmed cases of the swine flu.) The doctor didn't think I have the flu though. Well, that sucks! I wish you the best and hope you feel better soon. Giving your wife the best may in fact be you not spending too much time around her as you don't want to make her sick for Mother's Day. Rest up. We'll be in Vegas tomorrow, but we gave my Mom her gift early, Mrs. rr took her out for dinner tonight because I was at the Sox game. I did give her a hug and kiss on Friday...does that count?
