  1. Hello guys, I play a 12 team Yahoo non-ppr Standard Keeper league (3 players) and I have one of the best rosters on the league right now. QB - Foles WR - Dez, Julio, Michael Floyd, Keenan Allen, Decker, K Wright, Jennings RB - Stacy, Gerhart, S-Jax, Pierce TE - J Thomas One guy is trying to trade Matt Ryan, should I go for it? I kept Foles because it was worth it, but Im not very strong on him right now and love the Matt + Julio duo. What would be a fair offer? Foles + some wr? Which one? The guy got QB - Stafford WR - Cobb, Edelman, Harvin, Wheaton, Mike Wallace, Lafell RB - Jennings, Murray, Sproles, Tre Mason
  2. I'm charging toward the playoffs, and my QBs are failing me. I've got Matt Ryan and had Locker...now I'm not sure what to do. I've got two basic choices: 1. Surf the wire and rotate between Fitzpatrick, Pryor, Keenum, Palmer, etc. for the next several weeks. (Foles is taken.) 2. Trade Andre Brown and a WR3 for Philip Rivers. (Hesitant to do this given Brown's easy schedule and Rivers' challenging one.) My team: QB: Ryan, Locker RB: Charles, Bush, Bell, Ellington, Brown WR: Demarius, Marshall, Gordon, Dobson, Cooper TE: Witten (and a waiver add this week) Standard scoring Thanks!
  3. I'm in a standard 12 player flex (CBS sports) FF League. No PPR. QB Cutler, Jay RB Moreno, Knowshon RB Jones-Drew, Maurice WR Jackson, DeSean WR Cooper, Riley WR Jeffery, Alshon TE Davis, Vernon DST Colts K Dawson, Phil *Bench *QB Ryan, Matt *RB Brown, Donald *WRCotchery, Jerricho *Bench (TE)Olsen, Greg *Bench (DST)Cowboys
  4. I'm guessing there are at least a few people in a similar situation as I and are wondering about the viability of Matt Ryan the rest of the season, so I figured I see what everyone's thoughts are on here... With the loss of J. Jones for the year, the uncertainty of R. White and the 'rumors' of Gonzalez being traded, is Matt Ryan going to get me to the playoffs or do I need to look elsewhere?
  5. Hello , Thank you for taking the time to read my question, I have a somewhat long complicated series of questions/scenarios I would greatly appreciate your insight; first let me set up my dynasty league for you. It’s a salary keeper league, 1/2 pt PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Our league is set up with 22.5 Million Salary cap, we have a 4 mil franchise tag and then 6 million mini cap to re sign our players. Player’s value is equal to their average so Matt Ryan averaged 18 pts in our league so he is $1.8 (million). Referring to it as million is somewhat unnecessary so let’s just refer to it as having $22.5 as our cap. As of now my keepers are ( $ ) QB- M. Ryan (1.8) RB - A. Morris (4 (franchise tag)) RB - MJD (.7) WR - Julio Jones (1.3) WR - Demaryius Thomas (1.3) WR - Danny Amendola (.6) WR - Alshon Jeffrey (.3) Total Sal currently is 12.5 Million. Here now are my questions. 1) I also have Dwayne Bowe (.7) so I could keep him over Danny and then I wouldn’t be able to keep Alshon. Now I feel that Danny has the higher ceiling IF healthy and as my WR3 I think the risk is worth it. But I also feel like Bowe could emerge as well, really wonder what your thinking is, and just let’s assume both players play a full season. Also, keeping Jeffrey is a nice added bonus as he could emerge as a nice WR as well. 2) I also have Reggie Bush (1.7) I could keep him and then re sign Matt Ryan (him or Stafford will be the best QB’s avail). In our league if you owned a player you can match the highest bid and keep him, with everyone having QBs already I feel like he wouldn’t go for much in the auction max would be 3 million, last year I paid 2.7 for him. I think the value of Bush in the auction would range in the 4-7 million as more than half the teams need a RB 1 or RB2. Now there is the risk my jerk friends could just bid him up high knowing my strategy, but again I think he would probably still be lower than trying to bid on Reggie or another RB1/2. The way it looks now is that Reggie will be the best RB avail in the auction. SO keeping Reggie as a backup in case MJD isn’t MJD and Alfred Morris was a 1 year wonder is a smart move, there is also risk in Reggie, I am a Dolphins fan so I followed him closely these past 2 years and I think he can be a RB1 with the right team and it would seem DET is definitely the right team for his skillet, but there is the risk of Leshoure stealing TDS… Keep in mind most teams are only keeping 2 WRs some only 1 so the majority of bids will go to the best WRs and RBs avail, we chose which player is up for auction at random, we do a rookie/free agent draft after auction for all the players that weren’t auctioned and the rookies. 3) Trade Reggie Bush for Payton Manning. This is something that is on the table with someone who already has RG3 and Needs a RB1. This would essential just replace Matt Ryan and give me an upgrade at QB for the year, I feel Payton could be the best QB in the NFL this year and probably the best Fantasy QB. I feel very solid with my team already as is, but the scarcity of RBs avail and the weak demand for QBs leads me to think it would be wise to keep Bush and risk spending less in the auction on a QB over a RB3, allowing me to target other players possibly Gronk or Grahm. The Average weekly pts in my league for the playoff teams was 115 pts, as of now my team AVG is slightly under that, so keeping bush as a security for MJD/Bye week replace/trade bait and saving money to pursue other high scoring players such as Gronk or Grahm would be wise. As I type this email I more and more want to go with keeping Bush.
  6. My roster is below. I am hurting at RB so I am deciding which QB I should stick with and which to trade? What RB should I go after?
  7. Matt Ryan @ RG3. 4 pts for passing tds, 6 pts for rushing ts I'm completely torn. ATL has a good D and will make it hard for RG3 to throw it, but RG3 doesn't need to throw to get me big points. Plus, Cam Newton threw for 215 and 2 TDs plus 86 yards and a TD on the ground. RG3 could easily match those numbers this week right? Matt Ryan on the other hand is like last year's Aaron Rodgers. He's averaging almost 3 TDs and 300 yards a game. Discuss
  8. Okay, before everyone flips out, I am not down on Rodgers- he posted solid numbers yesterday despite serial pressure. My question is geared toward value and the fact that the the remainder of my lineup could use some help, and we have several QB needy teams in my league who have already shown some interest in Rodgers, and my backup Matt Ryan. I am aware despite is numbers yesterday Ryan is not Aaron Rogers and Ryan will also fetch substantially less trade value than Rodgers. I am not looking for advice on who to trade Rogers for, but looking (preferrably) for Packers fans or people who watched the game yesterday to let me know if you think the pressure is going to be an issue going forward and, IF (emphasis on IF) I got good value in a trade it would be worth risking going forward with just Ryan, or am I foolish to deal a guy like Rodgers? My lineup is as follows: QB: Rodgers, Ryan RB: Peterson, Charles, Ridley, Morris, R. Williams (Hillis/Gerhart) WR: D. Thomas, D. Jackson, Britt, T. Young TE: Cook If you link to yours I can reply to it. Thanks!
