  1. Trade which included Ben Tate and Wes Welker. The premise of the trade was that Arian Foster was out for the season and that Tate would become the primary running back now that Foster is out and would be a better fit than Michael Bush in the starting lineup. Source “Huddle Up: We've likely seen the last of Foster for 2013. He's currently meeting with doctors and may need surgery on his back. Ben Tate will the Texans' starter going forward with Dennis Johnson serving as Houston's No. 2 back for the time being.“ They needed a better running back than Michael Bush to start. He also wanted a potential keeper for next year. The other team wanted a wide receiver and thus the trade was made. As the commissioner would you veto this trade? If so why. Thank you in advance for your time and info Point system is standard. each team can keep two players into next year.
  2. In my league of record, I'm about to become the only team to make the playoffs all four years. I'm 8-1 and one win away from clinching back-to-back division titles. Thing is, I'm waiver-wire savvy, drafted well, but still need that one player to put me over the top. Here's the question: Is it wrong to approach the 0-9 team with a FAIR trade that would be mutually beneficial, but ultimately fill in a hole on my team and better position me for a deeper playoff run? The 0-9 owner turned down trades at 0-2, and again at 0-5. I reminded him that my championship season (2011) began 0-4, and a trade for Arian Foster made my team unbeatable on my way to the title. He didn't bite. So, thoughts on making your playoff team better by making a FAIR trade with a non-contender? Thanks
  3. Currently tied for first at 6-3 Been offered this trade.. He gives me P.Rivers and Steve Johnson or E. Decker for Andy Dalton and Jason Witten My team: N. Foles A. Rodgers TIGHT ENDS: Tim Wright Charles Clay RB: M. Lynch K. Moreno D. Woodhead A. Ellington I really do not need a rcvr he is just offering one up. I have D. Thomas, A. Brown, A. Jeffery, C. Shorts My dilemma is in week 12 Foles and Dalton are on bye and I would give one of them up anyway for a waiver choice.. Is Rivers beneficial to me down the stretch over Dalton....Wright is starting to get more involved as TE but it is Tampa Bay... Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated Thank you
  4. Roster is below. Who could I trade to get value for next season. We keep 3 players each year, with the exception of our 1st round pick (i.e. AP). Looking to acquire someone like Lacy so I can keep them going forward. What do you think would get me Lacy, or any other up and comers for next season?
  5. I really love my team, but I always love tweaking my team and making trades. Do you see anywhere I can significantly improve? Please offer any advice you have. This is a 50/50 PPR with 3 keepers. (Cannot keep AP).
  6. ESPN PPR 10 team league, must start 2 QB, 6pt touchdown for all including QB 1pt for 10yds rush/rec, 1pt for 25yds pass. QB Brady, Freeman, Weeden RB Gore, F. Jackson, Mikel Leshoure, Daryl Richardson WR Stevie Johnson, Marques Colston, Mike Wallace, Larry Fitzgerald, Danny Amendola, Donnie Avery, Andre Roberts TE Fred Davis, Greg Olsen Def Atlanta, New England K David Akers I am looking for help in solidifying my roster at QB and RB without giving up to much at receiver. Currently 2-4 after this week should be 3-4. We play 14 regular season games with top 4 teams getting into the two week playoffs.
  7. I don't NEED a rb right now, but i'd feel more comfortable if i had one more or a better one non PPR, passing 20 yards per point, rushing 10 yards per point QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,Flex,TE,Def,K,LB RB: MJD,Ridley,Mcgahee,Forte (high ankle sprain) I'm hoping to get Bush off waivers, but I have the 6th pick so I doubt I will get him. WR: Hakeem Nicks, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Mike wallace I was thinking beings Sproles had no action maybe the guy I offer a trade to will under value him. I thought about offering Wallace or Wallace/mcgahee for Sproles I really want sproles just cuz im bitter cuz I couldve drafted him last year and didnt and then got beat by him in the play offs by literally 15 feet. ha
  8. I would appreciate some direction. I'm new to this, first year playing. I've researched before my draft and I believe I did a decent job. 9. Hey everyone, first time on the forums. Liked a lot of the chat going around, hopefully you can help me out. I'm in a 16 person auction draft league, did pretty well, and have found myself with 5 rbs: Doug Martin, McGahee, Benson, Green and Isaac Redman. My WRS are also pretty solid for a 16 person league: Heyward Bay, Wayne, Torrey Smith, and Burleson (although I might drop him and take a chance on LaFell in Carolina).' TE: Jacob Tamme My QB is Big Ben. Who should I deal, if anybody, and what should I ask for? Scoring below. Offense League Value Yahoo! Default Value Kickers League Value Yahoo!
