HowboutthemCowboys Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 is he going to have a Green-like year or is this the end of the line for the GB running game.The ypc ave is 4.0 I think but he's has'nt gotten alot of carries.anyone see him performing up to where he was most likely drafted(mid 2nd round)? Chavez Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 I think if GB was smart, they'd work the running game - they have 3 decent backs and an OL that is 3/5 intact from '03 when they ran over any and everyone in their way. However, I think the GB think tank will just say "In Favre We Trust" and try to win by wingin' it all over the field. Chavez Posted September 23, 2005 Share Posted September 23, 2005 I wouldn't risk it - unless, say, Favre was my #2 QB and Green my #3 RB. I'm a diehard Packer fan, but they look pretty lost out there, and the problems (team leadership, offensive game-planning, lack of talent on D, especially the DL) aren't things that get turned around from one week to the next.
