Cardinal Running Backs

In one of the two leagues I play (the most competitive and biggest buckos) I have been scrambling all year at RB. I drafted Tiki Barber, Barlow, JJ Arrington, Shipp and Chris Perry.

Because that rotation has been subpar most weeks I've gone out and worked like heck to get something done and have managed to bring in Willie Parker and recently acquired Travis Henry.

So my RB rotation is starting to look a little better, but I now need to cut JJ Arrington or Shipp. I am leaning to dumping Shipp. Even though he starts I think JJ has bigger upside. Because I am no longer counting on these guys and it becomes more a "wait and see" game I think holding JJ may be the better move.

Chris Perry has actually scored more points that both the Zona RBs and if Rudi ever did go down injured Perry would be a bonafide stud so I can't see cutting him.

Any other opinions?

JJ probably brings more upside to the table because Denny doesn't like to be wrong on his picks. :D

Yea, I know that drill, but Shipp has just been brutal this year. JJ was as well, but at least dude did rup off one 30 yard run last week..even though his other 4 carries netted -5 or something.

Waiting for someone to say the entire Cards running game is worthless, which is clearly a legitimate viewpoint.

I'll say it then.  I dropped Shipp, and am in the process of using J.J. as part of a trade.  Be rid of them...  But if you're only cutting one, make it Shipp, I agree...

Yea, thats good advice. I don't think JJ Has any trade value at this point...Shipp has really cost me and after his debacle against the Titans last week I traded for Willie Parker and Bettis (gave up TJ Housh) and Travis Henry (gave up Troy Williamson).

At first I went after Clinton Portis, Brian Westbrook, and Carnell Williams/Pittman, but fish weren't biting so I set my sights a bit lower.

But yes...as you suggest...last weeks aggressive moves by me were perpetuated with the premise I would rid myself of Cardinal runningbacks.
