kluckmann
I am in a league where there have been a couple of weeks where teams tied. We start our playoffs this week and there are two teams fighting for the last playoff spot in their division. One has a record of 5-8 the other has a record of 4-7-2 . Who should make the playoffs. Im of the opinion that the team with the most wins does. Our commish thinks that two ties equal a W. Therefore the teams are tied and their head to head record is what breaks the tie. That would mean the 4-7-2 team would make it in. Opinions?

Big John
A tie is 1/2 win and 1/2 loss. So 4-7-2 is the same winning percentage as 5-8. So they are the same and you go to the next tie-breaker.
