Guest Cherni
schmidt/morris could make a nice 1-2 punch (if schmidt can stay healthy) 1211664[/snapback] Schmidt makes me nervous this year. He's been on my fantasy baseball team for 3 years. I don't like what I've been seeing. Yes he's been injured, but he never regained his velocity. Since I had the baseball package from time warner I watched most of his starts. He looked like a shell of his former self, both in his weight and his velocity. He def. lost a few pounds and I think it hurt his game. He was clocking in at the high 80's, low 90's. He's ALWAYS pitched in the mid 90's. I hope he gets back to form, he's a lot of fun to watch. hoopzfanatic
I agree...I'm an A's fan but go to some Giants games too. Schmidt lost at least 5 mph on his fastball. I do like how he approaches the game though and he, Morris, and Cain would be a nice 3 punch combo.
