PantherDave
During the process of the draft, I heard that Atlanta may look at old VT film to find some play's where Vick would be more apt to succeed? Mr. Mexico has had this particular play-book for 3 years now, also when he was out for the majority of 03, seems like he had plenty of time to absorb the information???? Mr. Mexico has had this particular play-book for 3 years now, also when he was out for the majority of 03, seems like he had plenty of time to absorb the information???? 1447087 Ever since he was drafted I've said he is vastly over rated as a Qb and that people are up on his jock because he can run, dip and dodge and is fast. Personally I think Vick isn't NFL QB material. He should have been placed in a RB role. I got into a debate at work over this. The dude that sits next to me was like "Well, does he lead his team to a victory?" yes he can but on his legs, not his arm. If he can't after 3 years know his own play book and the team may have to look back to old VT footage, then cut him, trade him, put him as a back up QB. I understand that teams are looking for a QB that can move, but to pick on at the cost of a good passing QB is just plain stupid (in my opinion of course.) PantherDave
Especially since that playbook was-shotgun formation, lock onto one WR, if he's covered, tuck and run.

Randall
ahaha I'm not fishing...I truly believe this.. 1447469 If in 3 years he is no better it may be th end of running QB's like them. The Titans do have McNair who succeeded after starting as a running QB to hope for, but then he threw something like 53 TD's and put up 6000 yds his final season in college. PantherDave
The jist of it was this-"Vick claims if he was put in shotgun formation, he would be a better passer." Ahhh, if your feet and speed are your assets, then why is the 3 step or 5 step drop, then set and read and throw so difficult. Bottom line is this, in my opinion, he wants to be PM and be able to call his own plays, however, PM equals good decisions and check downs-Vick equals......sandlot. Just one man's opinion and nothing more-don't think I'm to far off the bullseye though.

I wasn't sold on Leinert either, but he has too many weapons to not be good....he can't be any worse than McCown was... and Cutler is on a sound team with Rod Smith and Javon walker...and one of the best rushing attacks in the game.....his situation reminds me of Big Ben's when he came out...but I think Cutler has more talent in regards to putting up fantasy points....Big Ben has tremendous smarts...
