Otis
I'll buy into most of that I guess. The other key to me is that it is not a given that Perry will be in that Bengal Offense when he hits Free Agency. Rudi isn't exactly old and brittle. I'd put Perry at a 66% chance to hit it big. 33% he stays with the Bengals and takes over the number 1 33% he goes to another great offensive team as the #1 33% he gets stuck going to a poorer offensive team as the #1 1% he'll always be a backup. 1476998 Even on a poorer offense, Perry has the ability to be a very good fantasy back. He is a BUY now, for sure. (I liked him even more last summer, before he showed flashes during the year, because he was even cheaper then, but I still think he has oodles of value now). Caveman_Nick
I'm torn on Perry...isn't he starting to get a rep as a guy who either a. gets hurt more than the average bear b. doesn't have the tolerance for the pain I think Perry's value is overstated right now. 1476923 IMHO, in a situation where teams have 2 good RBs, and one gets dinged a bit, they are going to move a lot of the pressure form that guy onto the other guy. This is what happened last year with Perry and Rudi. The downside for Perry is that Rudi showed the coaching staff how good he could be if he were carrying the load as the major contributor. The upside is that all NFL coaches want to mix it up and keep their players fresh, so Perry should still get the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.
