Trent Green or Jon Kitna

I'm anxious to see what Kitna does in Martz's offense and I'd rather wait a couple of weeks to assess it, but I don't see Green lighting up the scoreboard this week. This is the price I pay for waiting until the 7th round to draft a QB, but it is what it is. Any opinions on who should get the call here? I'm actually leaning toward Kitna at the moment. :D

Just something to think about ... 2 years ago the NYJ opened the season against Cincinnati ... Edwards ran Curtis Martin into the ground ... 29 carries for 196 yards and a pair of tds (one receiving td). Pennington had 2 passing td's although one was to Martin. Point being that Edwards is very run oriented and now he has a better Oline and younger RB with greater upside and talent. KC will be should be able to run the ball all over CIN, which yes, could open up the passing game. However, would not make the passing game a necessity IMO. Kitna on the other hand should have to throw more because K Jones should have much less success against the SEA D and therefore the passing game will be a necessity. It is a tough call between the two this week. I think the safe play is Green, but the high risk high reward could end up being Kitna.

Disclaimer: Trent Green always throws td's whenever I would bench him and rarely threw td's whenever I would play him. Currently, I do not own Trent Green.
