CD6405 Posted September 13, 2006 Share Posted September 13, 2006 I know Larry Allen went out in the first quarter against Arizona, but the Cardinals aren't know for their defense. When the 49ers play better defenses in the next couple weeks (Stl, Philly, KC, and Oakland, who seemed better against the run in the second half [this is according that Allen will be out for 2-4]). mitpdub Posted September 13, 2006 Share Posted September 13, 2006 I read on a local site that Gore picked up 65 of his 87 yards after Larry Allen got hurt. Also, I think both of his TD's came after Allen was out. The niners line is actually much better this year so they can afford an injury or 2 before they become porous.
