Someone in my league has put up Steven Jackson or DeShaun Foster as trade prospects.

I need a solid back.

My current team is:

Matt Hasseleck

Dominic Rhodes RB

Chester Taylor RB

Andre Johnson WR

Reggie Wayne WR

L.J Smith TE

David Akers K

Steelers D

Backups:

Michael Vick QB

Cedric Benson RB

Kevin Jones RB

Isaac Bruce WR

Doug Gabriel WR

Skins D

Should I offer Wayne or Johnson for one of those backs? Think it will be an equal trade? Any ideas?

Thanks

I'd contact him and ask him what he wants from your roster. Tell him to pick what he want and then discuss the players. This starts the conversation and makes him feel like he's in the drivers seat.

Don't do it via e-mail!! Call him or meet him face to face

Yeah, probably the best move.

I'd over offer for SJax in your position (I'm not saying to do so, just saying the mistake I would make) and underpay for Foster.

You might want to try to sell him on Vick's upside, K Jones being "the new Marshall Faulk", and A Johnson being the Rod Smith of Houston with Kubiak there to put a shine on your guys.
