Shakenbake
I'm in a 14 team league, so the waiver wire is pretty plucked bare, but I need to pick up a WR to cover my bye weeks and injuries this week at WR. Our league does NOT give pts. for receptions, and it's a TD scoring heavy league (10pts. per TD for WR). Here's what I am looking at on the wire, who do you like for not only this week but as the seaon rolls on as a 4th or 5th WR: In no particuliar order: Bryant Johnson- AZ Hank Baskett- Philly Sami Parker- KC Nate Washington- Pitt Drew Carter- Carolina Eric Parker- SD I am leaning towards Johnson and Baskett, but willing to listen to any advice you guys have. Thanks
SLGRAF
Bryant Johnson, if you only need a WR until the bye weeks are over.
Savage Beatings
I am having a similar issue, but without the luxury of being able to choose Bryant Johnson playing against Oakland. To be fair, as bad as Oakland has been playing, their Defense is not that bad. But I still think that Leinart will find Bryant Johnson plenty this week with Fitzgerald still out. I would pick him up for a one week run... however if you are looking for the entire season, then I might lean towards Eric Parker instead. I think the Chargers are a force to be reconned with this season, and Rivers has shown that he can chuck that ball downfield.
